Thread: clamav version v99 not v99.1, KDE

  1. #1

Default clamav version v99 not v99.1, KDE

Do I wait for clamav v99.1 to be in software updates? Can I just make the newer version? How?

    Thanks.

    Or just wait.

A clamav update has been submitted for Leap 42.1, and should be released in the next days...

Will the opensuse security repo, get me the changes any faster? How do I add it, if needed?

Faster, yes. This is a devel repo, the updates get in there before they are tested and released as official updates.

But the question is *if* you need it...
    I'd rather think not.

The update has been released today anyway.

How do I add it, if needed?
    E.g.
    Code:
sudo zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_Leap_42.1 security

Thanks for the info. I'll think about adding it.
