Zabbix for suse 12.3

Hi,

I want to download and use zabbix monitoring tool in my desktop running open suse 12.3
If someone can help me how to download and steps to install zabbix.
I followed the below link to setup however I am unable to complete it. Throwing errors.

I also found that the zabbix_server.conf file also not available.
Can someone please help me to setup this.

Hello and welcome here.

First:
Please in the future use CODE tags around copied/pasted computer text in a post. It is the # button in the tool bar of the post editor. When applicable copy/paste complete, that is including the prompt, the command, the output and the next prompt.

Then, openSUSE 12.3 is not supported anymore. Thus I am not amazed that you can not find any up-to-date repos for it.

Maybe you can use the ones conserved here: http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/op...ribution/12.3/

But it would of course be better to install a current openSUSE version like Leap 42.1

I also do not recommend installing on openSUSE 12.3, since that already is subject to many common exploits due to no longer being maintained.

That said, since it's out of date IMO the only reasonable option is to install Zabbix from packages and from the Zabbix website.
