.gvfs locking problems

Does someone know how to stop the program that creates the hidden
file/mount .gvfs, it seems to get locked somehow and causes ls -aolF to
hang forever and firefox can not write anything to my home directory
when I do save to. I have to reboot with init 3, remove the .gvfs from
my home directory and then reboot again to get it working again. Very
annoying.

which version of Opensuse, and are you using Gnome?

I’m using Suse 11.1, 64 bit version and enlightenment 17, cvs version.
