Default How to install themes for KDE 3.x

    Am running openSUSE 11.1.
I would like to install a theme for KDE 3.5.10 that is simple and
without the rounded/ glossy buttons that come as default in KDE.

    - Where can I find /download additional themes for KDE 3.x (also for
    the gnome desktop) ?

    - And how to install them, after download (for both: KDE & gnome
    Desktops) ?

If you are using 11.1 - are you saying you use kde3 and gnome.

I checked your threads and it looks like you may have been using kde4
also, and xfce. So you have installed kde3 also.?

Most of the themes come as an archive, some may contain install
instructions - or there is probably a link on the page giving install
    details.

KDE4 does not work, so I'm using only KDE 3.5 & GNOME (occasionally
XFCE). But I wanted the extra themes for KDE 3.5 (not gnome/XFCE).

list of questions in the 'Forums' section, but this doesn't seem to be
    searchable.

    eg:
    'Azenis KDE-Look.org'

    on the page I quote:

*DECOMPRESS THE AZNEINS THEME AND FIND THE README.PDF INSIDE. IT TELLS
YOU HOW TO INSTALL THE THEME*

Another option is to add this repo
    'Index of /repositories/KDE:/Community/openSUSE_11.1'

it should have some extra themes to install.

and the build service for kde3 will bring you more up to date too
