Cant connect to wireless network

Hi guys. I recently installed openSUSE 11 (KDE) from the live CD.
Everything cool. But when I try to connect to my wireless network the
network manager does nothing.

It does show the network and all, but when I click on it to connect,
nothing happens.

A few days ago I installed the GNOME version and didnt have this
problem, so I assume perhaps it has something to do witht KDE perhaps?
Or something I did wrong…

Is there a way to connect to the network in terminal? Any help welcome
=)

ones from lwfinger.Lots of good info there ( this post should be there
