    Default startx doesn't work

    Hi all,
    I have an anthlon 800Mh with Riva TNT2 computer and Suse 11.0. I
    updated last day the Xorg server to the last version from
    'Software.openSUSE.org' (http://software.opensuse.org/search) and after
    reboot could not start kdm. I installed nvidia driver by following the
    steps from 'NVIDIA - openSUSE'
    (http://en.opensuse.org/NVIDIA#The_hard_way) -> "Legacy chipset
    support". Tried to run X and startx but the programs stop with the
    following error:

    Have read some forums telling that the
    nVIDIA-Linux-x86-71.86.06-pkg1.run is incompatible with the latest Xorg
    server.
    Came back to nv driver.

    Thanks.
