    Default Battery Usage More?

I just installed, and I'm noticing that my battery meter is basically a
timer. Coming from Ubuntu and Mint, where my laptop could get 3 hours,
3.5 on a good day of moderate usage. Now under 11.1 and 4.2, I'm getting
less than two hours. This can't be common.

    Any tips?

Install the package called *powertop* (do search for it in yast) then
    open your konsole and type:

    Code:
    --------------------

    powertop

    --------------------

to find out which processes are consuming more power. (Skyper,
    KTorrent, Amarok have many wakeups).
