How to cut a picture in two pieces!!

Gimp is the one I am using it and I found a scissors to cut a photo,I
cant go forward.I dont know how to split the picture in half>:(

Please can be so kind one of you help or give me a hand.:slight_smile:

I would do it this way. Use the measuring tool to get the acurate size
of pice (width and height) you want to cut out. Then select it, cut it
out with shortcut keys (Crl+x) and start new picture where you first
enter the exact width and size from the piece you have formerly measured
and then paste the piece with Crl+v.

Once you establish and select the piece you want to copy (as indicated
by arcull): If you do ctrl+c it will copy the selection to the
clipboard. Then if you do Shift+ctrl+v it will paste it into a new
picture of the correct size.

repeatedly.

Thank you you calm me down,but you know above the thing the video
quality is very bad I cant see which and which he click on it. But sorry who post the video. Im very sorry but the video image is in very poor.
Okay back again you know you try every thing and still is not working.
From today in march 2009 Igot lots of time and I will see a friend,he
never went opensuse forum and sking question,because he know what
hardware to get or not and he getting around with SUSE.
Ooooh he his the one he told me to use OpenSuse,no one of you told me
hey mike you know OpenSuse is better then Mandrake(Mandriva).
But I will take one more shot aand see>:(:’(
