    Default Need editor for binary files?


    Hi. I need a good free editor for editing binary files. What do you
    suggest. I'm on suse 11.1, kde 4. Thanks

    Okteta seems quite good and available for openSUSE:

    'KDE Utilities - Okteta' (http://utils.kde.org/projects/okteta)

    Its still an early version and doesn't yet have a 'diff' tool, but for
    basic viewing / editing seems to work okay.

    lfhex (found on freshmeat.net, compile from source)
