Fonts - too large IMO

I notice a few complaints about fonts, but most of the complaints are
about fonts being too small.

I think the default fonts in Suse are too large. Makes it look like I
am using a VGA screen on a ZX spectrum.

I use 1280x1024 or 1040x1080 (something like that) or 1920x1080
and in each case I prefer neat small fonts. In 11.1 I think the fonts
are super large and ugly (thanks to size).

I have found I have to go into kde3 desktop configure, kde4 desktop
configure, qtconfig and do it all again as root to fix the fonts to
something more reasonable and better use of the desktop size. (oh and
force 96x96).

Does everyone else really find the fonts too small?

Thanks

You can alter the font sizes. Mine look way better than in XP or Vista
now. Flipin’ brill.

Default settings are always set to something as safe as possible…
including the font size.

The default font-size can be read by people with poor eyesight.
If you’re unhappy with it you can always alter it as you seem to have
done.
