lifetime of 10.3

[ewhite20]

now that 10.3 is on the final leg of its journey, does anyone have an
estimate how long it will be before the next release that retires 10.3?

i ask because i run vmware workstation and 10.3 is the last version
they have on their supported list. vmware tech support does not know
why newer versions of suse are not yet supported.

distribution vendor or team.

they gave me that response when inquiring about why slackware was not
supported. (slackware has declined to work with them.) i've asked
several times (i have a support contract) about new suse version
support. the most recent response was that no new suse support was
shown in the pipeline. he had no additional information.

10.2 is their last supported release and 10.3 is listed as
experimental.
