with command gnomesu /usr/bin/gnome-schedule This way it promts for root
password and runs with root privilegies. Manual clicking on Run task is
working, but scheduled launch of some command, like for example that
shutdown is propably not executed by that application itself, even if
permissions seems to be ok. Maybe it's some kind of bug in command
submitting process of gnome schedule app...hmm

You do have the at daemon running?

sudo /sbin/chkconfig atd
If it's not on, then;
sudo /sbin/chkconfig atd on
Then start it;
sudo /sbin/service atd start
