    Default gdm problem


    hi all

    when i run gdmsetup in either root or normal user i get no command
    found , even though i have gnome installed

    I don't think there is such thing like that (i might be wrong, i'm
    running KDE3 but i searched software with option rpm provides).

    I use gdmsetup and can change login Screens (even use my own login
    screens). Check /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager and check displaymanager
    is set to gdm. If not set it and restart. If gdm is not running you
    can't use gdmsetup command. It's also possible that gdmsetup package is
    not installed. And one suggestion: always run gdmsetup after using su
    from user terminal. You can download gdm-themes from web. Extract those
    archieve to the /usr/share/gdm/themes/ folder.
