    Default Burning a CD/DVD

    hi

    I have a problem with burning a CD/DVD.
    I use K3b or Brasero and an extern CD/DVD burner, but booth programms don't recognize, that an empty CD/DVD is in there. They booth mean no medium is availible.

    The burner is to the PC with USB connected.

    edit: using openSuse 11.1 KDE 4.1

    Hi
    There is a bug related to this

    DVD & Audio CD cannot play in all multimedia apps
    . In YaST under
    your user name add yourself to the groups cdrom and disk.

    Not sure but you may also need to edit the file;
    Code:
    /usr/share/PolicyKit/policy/org.freedesktop.hal.device-access.policy
    See the link above for further details.
