Default zypper update vs YaST2>>Software Management

    Hi,
Could anyone suggest why `zypper update` shows that two patches need to
be applied, yet no updates are indicated by:
    YaST2>>Software Management>>Package>>All Packages>>Update if newer?
Further more the `zypper update` fails silently - when rerun the same
    tow patches are shown, e.g.:

    Code:
    --------------------
    # zypper update
    Reading installed packages...

The following NEW patches are going to be installed:
    fileshareset kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger

No additional space will be used or freed after the operation.
    Continue? [YES/no]: YES
    #
    --------------------

    Appreciate any insights or suggestions.

    Mark

    Is this OS 11.0?

The fileshareset update was a bug from about 1 month ago

Check Yast - Online Update, see what it lists.

I have the same persistent issue.

    I have tried

    zypper up -t patch

and via YOU with no success.

    Current installed versions:

    > linux:/home/dean # rpm -q fileshareset
    > fileshareset-2.0-501.2
    > linux:/home/dean # rpm -q kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger

    I'm curious about this one...

Apologies. Yes it is OS 11.0.
    When I check using:
    YaST2>>Online Update
    I see patches:
    kdebase3: Collective update (package: kdebase3-runtime)
Crash fixes in kopete groupwise (package:
    kdenetwork3-InstantMessanger)

    Double checking today again:

    Code:
    --------------------
    pm:~ # zypper up -t patch
    Reading installed packages...

The following NEW patches are going to be installed:
    fileshareset kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger

No additional space will be used or freed after the operation.
    Continue? [YES/no]:
    pm:~ #
    --------------------

So it seems there are now three different results: zypper, YOU and YSM

Is this possible to fix at my end, or is it a repository thing?
