    Default file-roller - no zip?

    hi all,
i want to compress several pdfs to zip by selecting them -> right mouse
click -> create archive -> .... well here i expected to have zip archive
option alongside of tar, tar.bz2, tar.gz, but there is NO zip archive
    option .
how can i add this option?

    - From the right-click option I don't think there is any .zip option (at
least not in SLED 10 for sure) but if you open 'file-roller' manually
and create a 'New' archive from there you can specify the type.

    Good luck.

    Solved.
All i had to do is realize that file-roller is front end to various
compression programs - hence installing zip, rar programs ads these
    extensions into file-roller drop-down menu.
