Thread: recover the downloaded packages

    Default recover the downloaded packages


    Hi everybody
    In goal to conserve all the packages that I downloaded for installing
    the applications, I need to know how I can recover all the packages.
    Or, in other word, how I can download the packages without installing
    it. I want to burn it in CD or DVD and make another repostories in yast
    from these last.

    I don't know how to configure YaST Software Manager to do this, but you
    can do

    zypper mr name_of_repo --keep_packages

    to modify a repo to keep any downloaded packages in

    /var/cache/zypp/packages/...

    Do zypper mr --help to see list of options.
