Default How do I customize Phosphor screensaver?

It seems the screensaver GUI in openSUSE (11.1 PPC) is limited compared
to other distros I've read about online.

When I search for customizing Phosphor screensaver, there seems to be
more options than what's available to me.

Anyone know how to customize the text output of the Phosphor
    screensaver?

You can customize some settings with the "xscreensaver-demo" program
which will create a ~/.xscreensaver configuration file. That file is
used by various screensavers including phosphor.
