Default openoffice crashing when opening ppt file

I use Open Suse 11.1. on Intel platform . I am trying to open ppt file
whihc is actually one slide, but when I click on image/link on teh
bottom it should open another presentation that is embedded within that
    slide.
It works fine on Red HAt 8.0 and Openffice 3.0 downloaded from
'OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite'
Openoffice 3.0 that is updated from Openoffice 2.4 using OPenSuse
repositories crashes after attempting to open embedded presentation by
pressing image/link at the bottom of the slide.
You can find ppt file here:
    http://www.gnulinuxcentar.org/drvo.ppt

    Please advise.

I deleted via YAst openoffice 3.0 from my opensuse 11.0 installation
and I instaled openoffice downloaded from
'OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite'
It works great. Thus, I suggest something during packaging was
    ommitted or wrongly put together.
