Default How to create addon CD/DVD from online repositories?

I want to create multimedia pack addon ISO image from online repos to
share with friend that does not have internet connection. Not a bootable
one but just an ISO image as installation source with all necessary
codecs, DVD, DIVX, MP3, and authoring tools for viewing and conversion
    of formats.

You can create a patch (or update) cd with the instructions from here:

'SDB:How To Create a Patch CD - openSUSE'

The instruction are from Suse 9.2, but will still work for later
versions. I used this to make a portable harddisk into an "update repo"
when I was on dial up.

You can also download the *.rpm's needed to a usb stick or burn to cd
and then install them on the other system.

Downloading rpms will not work because of dependencies. However I will
try solution from link above. Thanks for tip.

Well those instructions are for very advanced users... I'm not sure
    should I perform this adventure.

Here's another couple of links that may help. The first is what I went
through setting up a portable updates mirror while I had dial up on OS
    10.3.

    'OpenSUSE.us : Setting up a portable mirror'

This second link is the thread that originally gave me the idea.

'OpenSUSE.us : Setting up you own mirror'

That's the one that lists the directories you'll need to set up to
mirror the repos. Rsync is a great tool for doing this, and you can even
set this up to run from a Windows machine if you have to. The hardest
part of it all it the first run. That will take the longest, but after
that updating won't take that long at all.
