How to backup soft RAID0

I installed openSUSE 11.1 on RAID0 stripe provided by kernel and not by
BIOS raid. I tried recently to back it up with partimage but i couldn’t
do it. So i tried to discover these raid partitions with dmraid but it
has only options to discover BIOS RAID’s. How can i back these
partitions??

Thanks but i don’t like an idea of not having my BACKUP locally. I
don’t have fast connection so it would take years to restore :slight_smile: Thanks

g4u has the capability of executing your backup to any local attached or
remote storage(using practically any protocol but FTP and SMB are
probably of most interest).

As a backup app, I find it’s the most flexible solution I’ve found for
*NIX systems.

Well i solved my problem :slight_smile: I’m using tweaked xfs and it’s tools xfsdump
and xfsrestore :slight_smile:
