linux-source

I’m using this ‘Tutorial’
(http://en.opensuse.org/Setting_up_VMware_Workstation) to set up and
install VMware workstation. I got to the part that asks to install gcc,
make, linux-source and linux-kernel-headers. I can find all of them in
through yast and zypper except for linux-source. I’ve tried googling
“linux-source” and that didn’t help either.I’ve tried doing variants
(linux source, opensuse source, etc) with no luck either.

What is linux-source, and how do I get it?

Hi. It’s not called linux-source but kernel-source. Good luck.

Open YaST>Software Management and select the Development pattern that
includes the sources you want. These are not installed by default.
