RDP & VNC

So I’m using openSuse 10.3 and the application is KRDC\KDE4. I ran it
at first, really liked how I could have tabbed connections to various
systems. Good stuff.

But something has gone wrong and I haven’t a clue why. Now, when I
type in a connection, regardless of if it’s a VNC or and RDP one, it
asks for what settings I want, I set them, click okay, and the entire
app shuts down.

I thought maybe a glitch, restarted my whole box, and tried again…
refuses to do anything but immediately shut down.

Anyone heard of this and, if so, know the fix?

Thanks!

Mark

You can try and remove your configs for KRDC and then rerun it, that will make KRDC run like it did the first time you ran it, the config for it is a file named krdcrc some where in ~/.kde4/share. Also sense you are using the version that ships with KDE 4 you may need to upgrade it to the 4.1.x version if you have not already.

That did it. Reset to original settings, working fine. Not sure what
change I made that screwed it up, but it’s good to hooah now. Thanks!

Glad to hear that it is working again.
