    Default ipython ver. 0.9.1?

    Hi,

    I am glad ipython is part of opensuse (in 11.1 it's in the repo oss).
    However, the version included, 0.8.4., isn't the current stable release
    (0.9.1). See 'FrontPage - IPython' (http://ipython.scipy.org/moin/).
    Is it possible to update the version?

    I don't know if this is the best forum for this request, so please let
    me know if version requests should be sent elsewhere.

    Dave

    Hi
    If you install the python setup tools, just run easy_install;
    Code:
    sudo zypper in python-setuptools
    sudo easy_install ipython
