Hello, I am running Opensuse 11,kde3 and used to run kde4 but now in
kde4 my screen is blank. I have tried reinstalling the pacakages and
nothing. I have no menu button, systray or any of the widgits I put up.
Anyone have this happen to them before and if so what did you do to fix
it? Thanks in advance.

when you right click your desktop, can you “Add Panel” and “Add Widget”?

Login to kde3

go to your hidden user files, use view hidden files in k

find
.kde4
and re-name to .kde4old

Ctrl-Alt-Backspace
and choose kde4 login
