JavaEmbeddedFrame in System Tray not responsive.

I have an application (Fanurio) which appears in the KDE system tray as a JavaEmbeddedFrame icon. Formerly, you could close the application and then reopen it by right clicking on the icon in the system tray to obtain a menu similar to other apps that appear in the system tray like kmail, amarok, or calibre. Now, while the icon remains, it does not respond to the mouse. You have to restart the application from the KDE menu.

Is this a bug or is there a way to reactivate the former behavior?

Thanks.

It is a bug.
Java applications just ignore the fake mouse clicks Plasma5’s old-style system tray workaround sends to them.
