Unable to install or remove packags

Cannot install or remove packages. Digest errors after digest errors after checksum errors. Changed mirrors, cleaned cache, software manager keeps assuming something is not signed or has been hacked, this on a clean install of opensuse leap. Found this issue while trying to install proprietary nvidia driver one day ago, cleaned cache again, did refresh, opensuse oss repo says it can’t build cache, more errors follow. Help is much needed, regarding konsole outputs, just see the original thread:

went back to the default oss repo, now it gives me the same error as any other while trying to add it:

Smells like your root partition is full to me, or some file system coruption.
I suppose you are using btrfs as file system for root, right?
How big is it?

Try to remove some snapshots with “sudo yast snapper”.

I did a clean install, with the setting to use the entire disk. the partitions were made by default to use the entire disk. I haven’t changed anything else

This doesn’t answer my question at all.
Although it probably implies that you are in fact using btrfs, but it’s unlikely (but not impossible) that it’s caused by the snapshots.

How the installer sets up your partitions depends on what partitions are already there and how much space is available, and of course how big your hard disk is.
Please post the output of:

and

sudo lsblk -f

Although it probably implies that you are in fact using btrfs, but it’s unlikely (but not impossible) that it’s caused by the snapshots.

How the installer sets up your partitions depends on what partitions are already there and how much space is available, and of course how big your hard disk is.

your hypothesis is wrong. Out of frustration I installed debian, had issues while updating as well. It seems it is internet related. I get sh*ttons of errors while trying to update or install on any distro through my modem, but when I use my phone mobile internet connection, all works fine. Snooped around some forums, some people say to try to access ip 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.8.4, which I can’t. So I’m solving this with my internet provider.

Ok, it just seemed the most likely problem to me, according to your error message.

What do you mean with “I can’t”?
You do not know how to set 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.8.4 as your DNS server?
Or it doesn’t help either?

The first one we could solve here, I suppose…

Or can you not reach 8.8.8.(4|8) either?
It doesn’t work in a browser. But a “ping 8.8.8.8” e.g. should show a response.

So I’m solving this with my internet provider.

Yeah, probably the best if the problem is indeed caused by your internet connection.
