Thread: Where is RSH?

  1. #1

    Question Where is RSH?

I need to connect to some old machines using rlogin (they do not have ssh).
In my old openSUSE 13.1 system, I could install rsh and rsh-server, but I can't find it in Tumbleweed.
Does anybody know how I can install this package?

    Many thanks,

    Default Re: Where is RSH?

I never noticed that it was missing. But then it is around 15 years since I last used "rsh" and "rlogin".

Most likely the software is not actively maintained, and failed to compile.

The packman repo should have "putty", which usually has an "rlogin" client. I'm not sure if it supports "rsh".
