Default KDE/Plamsa 5 Leap folderview icon spacing and font size

Hi, in leap + KDE + plasma 5 the icons are placed too far away from each
    other in the folder-view mode.

How can this spacing size be reduced?
And does anybody know if there is a setting for the font size in folder-view
    mode?

    Many thanks

There's a setting for icon size. I made it smaller, and I like the result. Click on the "tool" for the widget, and you should then see a choice for icon size.

Thanks for responding. My icons do not have a "tool", not sure why.

There used to be in KDE a setting for the grid spacing of icons and a
setting for the font size. Those seem to be missing now and really hope they
will appear in some future update as the desktop does not look particularly
nice (too much space between icon and text, and too much space between icons
too to my taste). It is still all functional so I concede that I am after
    eye candy only. :-)

I did try the smaller icons from the Folder View Settings, but they are not
scaled down; they are linear drawings which are confusing as they all look
    pretty much the same. :-/

    Cheers
