Post How to create/update amarok script

    Hi everyone,

is there an easy way for a computer newbie like me to create an Amarok script to save and manage the listening of my favourite radio stations? I read some documentation but I really don't know what to do. I downloaded pre-made scripts for Amarok that can fulfill my need and tried to edit them with Kwrite in order to update the stream urls that were outdated then I copied-pasted everything in the Amarok script console and tried to execute code but all I can get is this message:

    ReferenceError: Can't find variable: ScriptableServiceScript

What can I do? Where does Amarok saves its scripts?

Better off asking in the Amarok forums at KDE tbh, I always found Amarok and radio stream scripting problematic when I've tried to do anything in the past. You might find it quicker and cleaner to just manually edit an ongoing 'master' m3u playlist file, tbh. Dead easy to read and edit.
