No logout since install

Since 'upgrading' to Leap I've been unable to invoke the logout - any ideas how to retrieve this? Many thanks.s

Apologies the problem was not with logout but with shutdown. I can no longer shutdown directly but only by logging out first - I am the sole user of the OS.

I'm able to shutdown and/or reboot.

Are you up-to-date with software updates? There was a bad "polkit" update that could have caused the problem you describe. That has been fixed in a more recent polkit update.
