Please check Firefox's "Add-ons-Manager" for the status of the Shockwave Flash (libflashplayer.so) -- "never activate" may possibly cause this issue.

    Hi JCD,
then there is something strange with the Flash Player permissions:

Also, take a look in the KDE System Manager and search for Adobe -- check the Flash Player settings.

By the way, I'm also running 13.2: 3.16.7-29-desktop with KDE4/Plasma-4 and Firefox 42.0-50.4.x86_64.
YouTube movies such as the Americas Cup AC45F footage are playing just fine.

OK. This is "Configure Desktop" on opensuse.
But in what section do you find your Adobe config.
    I have found none.

This had worked for me until I did a new install.
    Perhaps some libs are missing.
I am going to add some multimedia apps ( like vlc ) and see what happens.
    Thanks for helping. JCD
