Thread: Cant update system

    Default Cant update system

    I try running "sudo zypper up" it tells me "Empty destination in URI: hd:///?device=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-20001020000060804-part2

    Abort, retry, ignore? [a/r/i/? shows all options] (a):"



    How would i resolve this issue? im sorta new to linux and this is my 1st day of using opensuse

    Also, i try doing it from YaST it tells me

    Remove or disable the installation medium (i.e. the one with an URL like in your error message) from the list of configured repositories.

    You can do so with "zypper rr #" (you should find the number by running "zypper lr -d"), or in YaST->Software Repositories.
