Thread: Chromium and other programs not restored in KDE4/Plasma5 session

  1. #1

Default Chromium and other programs not restored in KDE4/Plasma5 session

I have noticed that when I was using KDE4 it never restored the state of Chromium as it does for Firefox.
I have just upgraded to Plasma 5 and it is still the same.

What is the reason for this?

Do you mean tabs dont restore or the browser doesnt start? If its tabs, do you have the option set in chromium to remember the last open tabs?

Any reason why you tagged as 13.2 ?

Start the browser from a terminal window and look for error messages.
° Appreciate my reply? Click the star and let me know why.

° Perfection is not gonna happen. No way.

At the time I opened the thread I was running 13.2 and Chrome. Then I reinstalled 13.2 (2 weeks ago) and set Chromium as main browser. Yesterday I upgraded to Leap 42.1, still using Chromium.

Start the browser from a terminal window and look for error messages.
Ok. Next time I see it happening - I will.
