I recently started using digiKam to add and edit EXIF metadata (mostly add captions) to family pictures. Since some of these may eventually go to the internet so I decided to add copyright metadata also.

The digiKam handbook says to go to Settings --> Configure digiKam and use the "Identity" item on the left to enter copyright information. There is NO "Identity" item available in this version.

Looking at what is available, I found that copyright information can be entered in the "Template" item on the left. The Metadata Template is fairly complex with four tabs and numerous items. I cannot find documentation on how to: 1) fill in the template items or 2) apply the template to existing and new albums.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
