Default Latest TW update broke SAMBA, wiped XFCE and MATE configs

I just ran a "zypper up" on my TW, 14/09/14. At the end I received an error about smb; when looking at syslog it stated that "Unregistered Authentication Agent" for winbindd.
Rebooted to try update again, from MATE, I entered XFCE. All customizations on XFCE are gone, and I could not login via SAMBA. Tried loging in via MATE, same issue, all customizations are gone, back, to defaults.

I've tried force re-installing SAMBA, but I always get the same error.

    Anyone else seen this today?

If I am reading that correctly, you are a year behind the times. I updated to 20150909.

Yes, the latest update broke samba. Somebody (not me) has already reported it as a bug.
