Thread: (suddenly) Chrome doesn't start

    Question (suddenly) Chrome doesn't start

I was just chatting with someone on Pidgin when I decided to restart Google Chrome. So I simply closed the window and clicked the Chrome icon again.

Nothing - the chrome icon was just jumping for a few seconds.

Loged out, restarted X - no change.
Reboot the machine - no change.

    Running from console:

    Code:
    google-chrome

[4908:4908:0826/120714:ERROR:nss_util.cc(856)] After loading Root Certs, loaded==false: NSS error code: -8018 Created new window in existing browser session.
Any idea what might be happening?
    (KDE is what I use)

Default Re: (suddenly) Chrome doesn't start

"ps axg | grep chrome" was giving me some lengthy output, so here is what I did:

    Code:
    i7:~> killall chrome
i7:~> ps axg | grep chrome
    13785 pts/4 S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto chrome
    i7:~> google-chrome
[13791:13791:0826/124401:ERROR:nss_util.cc(856)] After loading Root Certs, loaded==false: NSS error code: -8018

    Default SOLVED

    Deleted ~/.config/google-chrome
