That normally depends on your BIOS.

In my case, I hit F12 during boot, and the BIOS gives a boot selection menu.

Another alternative is to tell the BIOS to make USB the first booting choice. Then you have to make sure that there isn't a bootable USB drive plugged in if you want to boot the hard drive.

I don't know what the options are for your computer.

How do I find out what BIOS I have? And how to access and change the boot option?

Well the people who made the computer should know maybe you have some how too docs? Or maybe they have detail docs on their web site????

If the computer was new since Win8 was released it is very probably an EFI BIOS Most BIOS will have a splash screen that comes up for a short time at power on. This screen often shows the option keys. Yes it goes by very fast but generally the options are along the bottom of the screen.

Well, that's up to whoever manufactured your computer. It should be in
the manual. It is not Linux who does this.

On most machines, you get a quick message during boot that tells you
what key to press to get boot options or bios config. You have to be fast.

Do a google search using the word: BIOS
and the name of your computer manufacturer.

The chances are that you will find a page with details about BIOS setting for your system.

Okay I Googled it and have a solution. The last issue I have is with my video driver on my thread in the hardware section. If that could be resolved I'll be good.
