    Question Printer log?

I was wondering if a log is made of all printed files
    The logs at: /var/log/cups/
    Particularly access_log
Shows dates but no detail of the actual file Eg: /home/carl/Documents/mytextfile

Is there anywhere that it might be recorded? Is it possible to have it be so?

Which version of CUPS is TW currently using? You may need to refer to the CUPS documentation for the applicable version

    http://localhost:631/jobs?which_jobs=all

But it does not show what files were printed (Name, User: Unknown, Withheld)

There is an old thread in the mail list where we talked about "printer
accounting", back in 2010-02). What I wanted at the time was a log of
how much paper and toner was used. www.pykota.com was suggested.

    http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2.../msg00878.html

But Johannes Meixner said better to ignore it and use
    /var/log/cups/page_log instead.

Maybe you can find some links there of use :-?
