Default Gwenview - Printing in bad orientation

    Hello.
    I print to two networked printers ( B/W brother hl2250dn ; colour samsung clp325w ).
For years, I am fighting my printer under Gwenview.

Any printer could not print directly in the good orientation or did not print in the orientation I have chosen.
The only way I have found is to make a pdf and then print from Adobe Reader which choose directly the best orientation.

    Here an example.
I have a png picture which size in pixel is x=478, y=240
I open the file with Gwenview, select print, set printer properties : Landscape, set margins to 10,10,10,10.
Then the printer continue to print in portrait.

    Second question :
How to fix definitely options ( margin for examples ).

    Any help is welcome.
    Thanks for helping. JCD

Personally, I never bother with landscape. I rotate the image 90° and print it that way. Not had any problems doing it that way.

Same here, and that also means deciding whether to rotate to most closely match the aspect ratio of the image with the paper.

Ok, I will try the rotation. You would notice that Adobe reader do it by itself.

And about the margins that I have to set every times ?

I am not sure why you have to set the margins. I simply use the Image settings tab to scale the image in such a way that it leaves the appropriate margins. Mostly, this means doing nothing but leaving the standard middle of the page/scale to fit page option. If you set margins you can end up with asymmetrical scaling.
