    Exclamation KRunner "shrinks" when I start typing

    A picture is worth a thousand words so...

    When I summon KRunner it looks ok -->


    KRunner when I sart typing (aka: The Problem)->

    This issue appeared recently, has this happened to you? Any suggestions on where to look for?

    I'm running openSUSE 13.2 updated to the latest.

    When you start typing, krunner displays search results. Apparently your krunner "window" is too small for that.
    You can resize it by moving the mouse pointer over the bottom edge (it should change its shape then), pressing/holding the left mouse button and dragging to the preferred size (just like you would resize a normal application window).

    Making it bigger (when it is "shrunken") should "fix" the problem I suppose...

    Hi, and thank you for your answer.

    Oddly enough I have already solved the issue.

    1- renamed my ~/.kde4 folder to something else ie: .kde4.backup
    2- logged out & logged back in (a new defaul ~/.kde4 folder is created)
    3- renamed my old .kde4.backup to .kde4 again
    4- repeat step 2

    Issue solved. Don't know what was happening really though :S

    A config some where got messed up or as Wolfi said the setting was too small
