Thread: Gramps 4.2.0 broken

    Default Gramps 4.2.0 broken

    Just updated latest Gramps from the Gnome:apps repo and it crashed. Got
    the following errors when run from console:

    ..gramps.gen.utils.grampslocale.WARNING: ICU not loaded because No module named 'PyICU'. Localization will be impaired. Use your package manager to install PyICU

    cairo python support not installed. Install cairo for your version of python

    I got a message to say that it has upgraded from Python 2 to Python 3 and offered to upgrade my family tree if I had a backup in case anything went wrong. As I have a backup, I said Yes and everything appears to be working fine.

    Yes, me too. I should have put an update here when the problem was
