It returns me always a message that transcode returns unknown error (code1).

Any idea what to check, what to do?

    Thank you,

I just tried ripping one (short) title of a DVD on my system (13.2, with k3b from openSUSE), and it worked fine.
But, with the k3b from Packman, it doesn't work.

So this seems to be a regression in k3b-2.0.80...

Can you try to switch k3b back to the version supplied in openSUSE 13.1 please?
    Does it work then?

FYI: been using 2.0.80+git20150209.2250-1.3 since May, no issues (13.2).

Well, it aborted with an error message when I tried, while 2.0.2 (as included in 13.2) worked fine.
And I just tried again, and can reproduce that without problems.

Maybe it only has problems with specific DVDs or certain settings?

PS, it seems to be this bug:

FYI, this should be fixed now.
The 2.0.3 package in KDE:Extra and Tumbleweed have been updated to include the fix, and the 2.0.80git version in Packman as well.
