    Hi
What is the size and filesystem format of the sd card? Is this an internal or external reader?

The filesystem format is FAT32 and it's an internal reader.

    Hi
It should be a jMicron device, what about the size of the SD card is it
    greater than 8GB?

    I have a CQ56 and a CQ60 (not re-cpu'd though) can install
tumbleweed to see how it goes.

The SDCard is 32GB. And, it would be much appreciated.

    Hi
That may be the issue (32GB), do you have a 4 or 8GB SD card to see if
    that works?

I inserted an 8gb sdcard and it mounts.
Why doesn't the 32Gb card work?

    Hi
Hardware limitations, I only have a 8GB SD card here, can you borrow an
external USB reader to try out your 32GB card.

Is it discovered at all when you plug the 32GB SD card in (as root
    user run the following command)?
    Code:
    journalctl -x --no-pager|grep mmc
