Default KDEnlive no video output on render

    Hey all,

I have a slight problem with KDEnlive when I render out files, I use the sample video from sample-videos.com (or something like that, from memory) and when I render it only outputs the audio, it's set to 25fps, h.264/aac. The original file is 50MB and it's rendered to 5.4MB. Just a note, I used packman codecs to get vlc working. I'm running OpenSUSE KDE 13.2, intel i5 3570, 8GB RAM DDR3, Asus radeon 7870HD GHz edition 2GB, 120GB SSD, 250GB SSD, 1TB HDD.

    Thanks in advance!

Do you use the Packman repo?
You need ffmpeg/libav* and libmlt from there (in particular libmlt6-modules) for full codec support.

Try to do a full system switch to Packman.

Probably you have some crippled libmlt or libav* installed, or some incompatible underlying library.
