I am using firefox 38.0.1 on OpenSuse 13.1 x86_64, the IcedTea plugin is version 1.4.2 but I see newer versions on the web, is this something i should manually update? I dont get any updates for it running yast -> Online Update.
How is firefox installed ?
and how id the java icedtea plugin installed ?
i do not use the suse firefox , i use the 64 bit version from mozilla
and install it on a separate partition for suse extra files
then link the /etc/browser-plugins to the plugins folder i made in the ff folder
/Your/Install/Location/firefox/browser/plugins/
