Default Installing Applications for All Users

I know I should know the answer but am stuck. I have openSUSE 13.1 on laptop which is shared by several users. I have installed Thunderbird and Chrome while logged on as one user but wish these apps to be available for all users. Help please!

If you install an application from an RPM package (via YaST, zypper or rpm), it is available for all users.
