From /var/log/messages: What is this about?

There is a lot of this in the messages log; a new entry every 15 minutes.

I’ve been getting those every 15 minutes.

I ignore them.

I seem to recall seeing them in opensuse 11.3, perhaps earlier. I believe that they are from a cron job that runs every 15 minutes. The are more complicated now, because the systemd user manager process is being started each time - that maybe started at 12.3 or 13.1 if I recall.

11.3? No, there was no systemd then.
If you mean 13.1, then yes, I get them.

Yes, apparently each time cron starts a job (session) systemd logs an
awful lot of text.
