    Default zypper - Search for arch - Search for version

    Hello.

    This command
    Code:
    zypper se -s 'kernel*'
    returns dozens of lines.

    Code:

    Default Re: zypper - Search for arch - Search for version

    The problem with your command seems to be the -s which prints out every matching package and ignores arch.

    Code:
    zypper se -v 'kernel*.x86_64'
    Would print out all x86_64 kernels.

    Or if you like the other output, why not just;
    Code:
    zypper se -s 'kernel*' | grep -i x86_64
    As for installing a specific version:
    Code:
    zypper in kernel-default=3.16.6-2.1
    You may need to use --oldversion if you are installing a version older than you already have.
