Default desktop settings reset after crash - overwrite factory defaults ?

Hello, each time my open-suse 13.2 crashes, the desktop settings are reset.
Is there a way to overwrite factory defaults settings ?

I'd particularly like the desktop effect, general tab, "enhanced window managment" not to be reset.
(in french the checkbox is labeled: "Gestion améliorée des fenêtres")

The main application i use (based on qt4) doesn't support this option(it leads to a focus problem after a modal dialog is closed).

additionally, if all the shortcuts standing on the desktop could survive it'd be a plus.
    Thx for your help.

    Never mind...

    > kdesu kwrite /etc/kde4/share/config/kwinrc

    added

    >kwin4_effect_desktopgridEnabled=false
    >kwin4_effect_dialogparentEnabled=false

    now roll on next crash.
